Aberdeen U17 Championships - 13-14 August 2022

U15

Holly competed in 100m and 200m.  She made it through the Heat and Semi Final stages in both sprints and took part in both finals. She achieved a Season's Best in the 100m finishing 7th overall.  She achieved a Season's Best and finished 6th overall in the 200m.

Iris competed in 100m, Long Jump and Shot Put.  She made it through the heat to the Semi-Final in 100m with a new PB too.  In Long Jump, Iris placed 8th overall with some very consistent jumping and in Shot Put she placed 7th overall.

Ava competed in 100m, 200m. and Javelin. She made it through her heat to the Semi-Final in 100m with a new PB too. She placed 5th in her 200m heat against very tough competition, just missing out on the final. She placed 7th overall in Javelin.

Anna competed in 100m, 200m and High Jump.  She achieved a new 100m PB in her heat. She had a tough heat in 200m and she placed 5th overall in High Jump.

Lauren competed in 300m.  She ran a brilliant heat, setting a new PB, then took the Final by storm, placing second and winning a Silver Medal.

Lexi competed in 80mH, Long Jump and Triple Jump.  She achieved a new PB in the 80mH heat (breaking the U15G club record at this distance), then placed 7th overall in the final.  In Long Jump she placed 5th overall against a strong lineup of under 17s.  In Triple Jump she placed 3rd overall winning a Bronze Medal.

Evie competed in 800m and Triple Jump.  She achieved new PBs in both events.  She placed 8th overall in Triple Jump.

Andrew competed in 200m, High Jump and Triple Jump.  He placed 7th in his 200m heat, 8th in High Jump and 5th in Triple Jump (jumping very close to his PB).

These athletes have been amazing this year, they have attended so many competitions and have been brave enough to run up a year.  As you can see above they competed so well and achieved so highly.  Well done all!  We are all looking forward to seeing how you get on at the U15 Championships this weekend.

U17G

Niamh competed in 300m, achieving a Season's Best performance and placing 6th in a tough heat.

Georgia competed in 80mH, 300m and Discus.  She ran very well in a tough heat placing 5th in her 80mH and 6th in her 300m heat.  She finished 7th overall in Discus with a new PB.

U17M

Alexander competed in 100m and 200m.  He achieved a Season's Best in 100m. He placed 7th in both heats.

Roy competed in 1500m and made it through to Sunday's final as the top qualifier. He placed 6th overall. He smashed his PB and bet his own Club Record by 7 seconds!

Tom competed in 100mH, 400mH and Triple Jump.  He finished 3rd overall an won a Bronze medal in 100mH as well as another Bronze medal in 400mH (where he achieved a new PB and improved on his Club Record). Tom was 4th overall in Triple Jump.

U20W

Tamsin competed in 100m and 200m.  She placed 5th in her 100m heat with a Season's Best time.  She placed 3rd in her 200m heat.
