4J Studios 130th Scottish Athletics Senior / U17 Championships

12th and 13th August 2023
Eight athletes represented Elgin at the National Championships. Along with many PBs they brought home four National Medals: 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze.
U17W
Ava ran in 200m and 100m, achieving PBs in both. She got into the semi- final of the 200m and made it to the final of the 100m in her first year of U!7W to place 6th.
Anna, also in her first year of U17W, won Gold in High Jump with a jump of 1.64m. She finished 4th in Long Jump with a jump of 5.26cms.
Kathryn achieved a Season’s best in 100m and finished 4th in High Jump.
Lauren, also in her first year of U17W achieved a PB in 200m, making it into the final to finish 4th.
Lexi , in her first year of U17W, took home a Silver medal for Triple Jump, placed 6th in Long Jump and made it into the final of the 80mH, finishing in 6th place with a new PB.
U17M
Ruaridh, in his first year of U17M, competed in Javelin (placing 7th ) and 200m.
Andrew, in his first year of U17M, took home a Silver Medal in Triple Jump with a jump of 11.78m. He finished 8th in Long Jump and also achieved a new PB in 200m sprint.
U20 M
Tom competed in 100mH, achieving a new PB and taking home a Bronze Medal. Tom also competed up an age group as a Senior Male in 400mH, finishing 8th, achieving a new PB and Club Record.
