Athlete participation policy
This policy is in place to help the club to run in way that we are able to give as many people as possible the chance to take part with EAAC. We are in a fortunate position to have an enormous waiting list, and if we can help local young people to enjoy athletics we will do that.
+If a member fails to show up 5 sessions in a row we will send you an email to remind you of this policy.
+If there are suitable reasons for missing our sessions then we will take that into account and extend the period before contacting you again.
+After 7 sessions we will move that member onto a ‘fill up’ basis on TeamApp.
+A potential athlete will be invited into the club to take your place.
+’Fill up’ basis means that you may sign into a session after 6pm on the day, if there is a space. Please remember that we can only take 10 athletes in each group. If the app shows that you are on the waiting list then there is no guarantee you will get a place on that night.
