Spikes

* Please note, spikes are not mandatory for training purposes. *

When looking for spikes, please seek advice from your coach if you are unsure. There are different kinds of spikes for sprints, distance, jumping and throwing, so please reach out if you are uncertain.

The club received funding from Athletics Trust Scotland to bolster the collection of spikes available to new and existing members which can be tried and used before having to commit to buying your own spikes. See us at training for information. If you have spikes that are in a decent condition and no longer used, please consider donating them to the club so we can make them available to others. Thank you Athletics Trust Scotland!

  • Run4It Inverness - Run4It is a specialist running shop in Inverness, and are able to measure and provide advice on spikes. They also have an online shop, and other stores located throughout Scotland.
  • SportsShoes -  SportsShoes is an online shop, with a range of spikes on offer.
