4J Studios Scottish National Championships U13 / U15 / U20
19th and 20th August 2023 – Aberdeen Sports Village
Eleven athletes represented Elgin in the U13/U15/U20 National Championships. Again, many PBs were achieved and they brought back a total of 3 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals. There was delight as British Sprinter, Zoey Clark presented their medals.
U13G
Rowan, who trains at Knockando, brought back a Gold Medal for Discus with a throw of 17.43m. She also competed in 70mH, setting a new PB and Shot Put.
Jenna competed in 70mH, setting a new PB and achieving a Silver Medal. She also competed in Long Jump, finishing 6th with a new PB.
U13B
Quentin competed in Shot Put, setting a new PB and achieving a Bronze Medal. He set a new PB in 100m.
U15G
Holly was a double Gold Medal winner. This was a remarkable comeback after injury. She won Gold in Long Jump, equaling her PB with a jump of 5.48m. She won Gold in 75mH, setting a new PB and Club Record.
Lillia competed in 300m.
Gemma competed in Long Jump and set a new PB in 75mHurdles.
Maddison competed in Long Jump and set a new PB in 300m.
U20W
Tamsin set new PBS in 200m and 400m. She placed 5th in 200m and 4th in 400m.
Lauren and Lexi, both in their first year of U17W, competed up an age group with great results:
Lauren finished 8th in 200m and set a new PB and Club Record in 400m to win Bronze.
Lexi won Silver in 100mH, Bronze in Triple Jump and Bronze in Long Jump.
U20M Tom achieved new PBs and Club Records in 400mH and 110mH to take home two Bronze Medals.
