Seeded fourth for the event, Hollly was the fastest qualifier for the semi-finals, after the four heats, with a new PB of 9.11 (previous PB was 9.20). IOut of the two semi-finals Holly was again the fastest qualifier for the Final with another new PB of 9.09. As her nervous fans watched from home, Holly looked completely focused and on form as she lined up for the Final. Holly won GOLD! With another PB of 8.97, Holly not only won Gold but broke the Scottish Record which has stood for 20 years.
What a wonderful few days for EAAC and for Holly. So amazing to see one of our athletes competing against such a strong line up and coming all the way back here with a Gold medal.
