Youth Development League Final - Grangemouth - 31 July 2022

There were 17 PBs achived on the 31st July and six of our athletes achieved medals (for placing 1,2 or 3 in the A string or 1 in the B string).
In our U13 Girls we had Zara, Gemma, Sylvie, Jenna, Eilidh and Rowan competing. Zara, Rowan and Sylvie attained new PBs in every event they entered! Jenna achieved a new PB in 1200m and Gemma achieved a new 75m PB. Gemma placed third in 70mH and Eilidh placed 3rd in High Jump both achieving Bronze medals.
In our U13B we had Ted and Charlie competing. Ted achieved two new PBs in 150m and 800m. Charlie competed really well in Shot Put, Javelin and 75m.
In our U15G we had Iris, Anna, Ava, Lauren, Evie and Holly competing. There were new PBs for Anna in 100m, Ava in 200m and Hammer Throw as well as for Lauren in Shot Put and Javelin. Iris received a Bronze medal for Long Jump. Anna received a Gold medal for High Jump, Lauren receved a Silver medal for 300m. There were a number of very close fourth places in this age group for Ava and Iris.
In our U15B we had Andrew, Ruaridh and Archie competing. There was a new PB for Ruaridh in the Javelin. There was a Silver medal for Andrew in the Long Jump.
