Subsea Supplies Open Graded Aberdeen - 10th December 2023
Thirteen EAAC Athletes took part in the Subsea Supplies Open Graded in Aberdeen on the 10th December. There were a large number of PBs from the first Open of the Indoor Season.

Schools International Indoor Pentathlon Success For Holly
On the 2nd December Holly Whittaker represented Team Scotland in the Schools International Indoor Pentathlon in Cardiff.

Knockando Last Gasp Jumps Meet - 30th Sept - 1st Sept 2023
On a very unexpectedly blustery Friday afternoon a number of athletes gathered at Knockando to participate in the Last Gasp Jumps meet. Due to the huge gusts, the competition could not go ahead and was rescheduled for the following afternoon. Instead, the athletes played team games, played in the Outdoor Gym and then had cake!

North Area Trophy - Track and Field - Inverness - 16th and 17th September 2023
Twenty-five Elgin athletes competed over the two days of the North Area Trophy in Inverness on the 16th and 17th of September. This well attended competition, jointly organised by EAAC and Inverness Harriers, saw Track events take place on Saturday and Field events take place on Sunday.
Elgin athletes took home 21 Gold, 14 Silver and 9 Bronze over both days.

RAM Grampian League Final - Aberdeen - Sun 27th August
On the 27th August twenty-five of our athletes travelled to Aberdeen to compete in the RAM League Final. Fort the first time ever, every single age group from Elgin AAC reahed the final. It was a great day and lots of fun with PBs aplenty!
The U11 Girls finished third in their age group. The U17W finished second in their age group.

English National Athletics Championship Success for Elgin Athletes - Birmingham - 26th and 27th August 2023
The English National Athletics Championships were held on the 26th and 27th of August in Alexander Stadium, Birmingham (where last year’s Commonwealth Games were hosted).
Budding athletes, Holly Whittaker(U15G) and Anna Reid ( in her first year of U17W), made the 1000 mile round trip from Elgin to compete in Birmingham against girls from all over the UK. Anna Reid is currently the joint top performing high jumper in Scotland, having won the title of U17W Scottish National Champion in mid August. Holly Whittaker is currently the top performing 75m Hurdler and Long Jumper in Scotland for her age group. She too, is a Scottish National Champion in both Long Jump and 75mH, having won Gold in both events at the Scottish National Athletics Championship one week before this event.

4J Studios Scottish National Championships U13 / U15 / U20 - Aberdeen - 19th and 20th August 2023
Eleven athletes represented Elgin in the U13/U15/U20 National Championships. Again, many PBs were achieved and they brought back a total of 3 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals. There was delight as British Sprinter, Zoey Clark presented their medals.

4J Studios 130th Scottish Athletics Senior / U17 Championships - Grangemouth 12th and 13th August 2023
Eight athletes represented Elgin at the National Championships. Along with many PBs they brought home four National Medals: 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze.

Inverness Highland Games - 15th July 2023
A number of Elgin Athletes took part in Inverness Highland Games - it was entirely different weather from the week before in Forres but Elgin did really well nonetheless!

SIAB International - 13th July 2023
Two Elgin Athletes represented Scotland in the Scottish Schools International Track and Field in Grangemouth.
