A slightly colder day for the field events, but the competitive spirit remained high and there were some great results.

North Area Championships - Track - Inverness - Sat 25th September
A fantastic day was had by all in Inverness as the outdoor season comes to a close. Twenty-eight athletes, 83 performances, 11 Gold, 6 Silver, 5 Bronze, 30 PBs and 7 Championship Best Performances!

Scottish National Relay Championships - Grangemouth - 10th September 2022
Huge success from the U15 Girls at this Championships! Elgin Athletics fielded not one, but two Relay teams for this Championship. The girls excelled themselves - not only with their athletic achievements but their incredible team spirit too.

Scottish Athletics U13/U15/U20 Age Group Championships - 27th and 28th August 2022
An incredible 18 athletes went to Grangemouth to compete in the National Championships over the weekend. What a successful weekend it was too! 2 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals for our Elgin Athletes!

Aberdeen U17 Championships - 13-14 August 2022
A brilliant time was had by all attending the Aberdeen U17 Championships on the 13th and 14th August. EAAC had 14 athletes competing in this Championship. Incredibly, eight of these were athletes who are Under 15 Competitors running up an age group. They really held their own and made us all very proud. There were medals too for Lauren (silver in 300m) Lexi (triple jump bronze) and Tom (bronze in 100mH and 400mH.

Knockando Platinum Jubilee Horizontal Jumps Meet - 7th of August
A fantastic Horizontal Jumps Series was held in Knockando during the outdoor season with competitions taking place on the 10th April, 6th May, 28th May and the 7th August.

Youth Development League - Dundee - 26th June 2022
Eighteen atheltes and their supporters travelled by coach to Ronnie MacIntosh Stadium in Dundee for the last round of the Youth Development League. A super day was had by all! In the Youth Development League, Elgin Athletes compete as part of Team North.

Scottish Secondary Schools Athletics Championships- 10/11th June - Grangemouth
Elgin AAC athletes represented five Secondary Schools across Moray in the Scottish Athletics Secondary Schools Championships on the 10th and 11th of June in Grangemouth.
12 Athletes came away with 25 performances, 8 PBs, 4 club records, 1 Championship record and a trophy was awarded to the best female hurdler of the day.

Scottish Secondary Schools Pentathalon - 4th June - Grangemouth
Elgin AAC athletes proudly represented their respective schools in the Scottish Secondary Schools Pentathalon in Grangemouth. It was a really tough field of competition in all age categories - our athletes really excelled.

Yet another fantastic day of competing for Elgin Athletes.
We had 31 athletes, 28 PBs broken (and many more set), 1 league record, 2 club records and lots of smiling faces!
